Fixxxercask Posted January 27, 2012 Posted January 27, 2012 I know that in the rules it states for AWD cars getting dynoed on a DD dyno the correction factor is 1.1 for Dynojet. It makes no mention of a 2WD car. Can I assume that it is the same? The reason I ask is because the place I get my car tuned at has a DD dyno. I am expecting the car to put down 250 on the DD dyno. That would equate to 275 on a Dynojet. Is this correct or do I have to go make some pulls on a Dynojet afterwards to verify? I would rather not if I can help it. Thanks Quote
National Staff Greg G. Posted February 1, 2012 National Staff Posted February 1, 2012 We have found that DD Dyno's tend to run low, like Mustang Dyno's on AWD cars. Since we do not accept DD Dyno sheets for 2WD cars in most NASA series, we don't have the data to give you a good answer, other than if you want to know the Dynojet number, test it on a Dynojet. Fixxxercask Posted February 1, 2012 Author Posted February 1, 2012 Thanks! I'll just have to take my car to a dynojet somewhere local and make some pulls after I get it tuned on the DD dyno. Quote
