I have a friend who would like to bring his car to the track.

He has a 2011 Corvette grand Sport Convertible. He would like to sign up for the HPDE at Watkins Glen. My question is can the vehicle participate without modifications?

It's best to check with the regional director for the event in question. Some of those rules are track-specific.
