trigger
the appendix says Chevrolet Corvette C5 (inc. FRC w/o Z51) TTB* 3246 Chevrolet Corvette C5 (all w/ Z51) TTA 3173 well, all the FRC's came with the Z51 suspensions. so does that mean TTA? or is there an implied & in the top one? (inc FRC & w/o Z51)? so whre does it play?
beerkat
You TT/A you have 20 points that you can spend on upgrades. _________________________ I added cool smileys to this message... if you don't see them go to: http://s.exps.me
kbrew8991
where it plays depends on the mods package of course Kim, the 20th point bumps you up a class, so it'd be 19. the point of the top listing is to let the more basic Corvettes have a more fair base class, and if you did have a Z51 and upgraded the suspension stuff beyond what came on the car it might be wise to use the non-Z51 base class so you start in a "lower" class
beerkat
Thanks Ken. That is why I moved to TTS.

Varkwso
All FRCs came with Z51 so this option allows you to base class and FRC in TTB* and add springs, sways and shocks of your choice or backfit to base springs/sways and shocks for TTB base FRC. Keeping the Z51 suspension you can start in TTA with 19 points, bigger base tire, and lighter. Choices are yours. Proud C5 FRC TT competitor since 2006.. I meant to say: Remove the Z51 parts and you can class it as TTB* at 3246 lbs.
trigger
That clears it up. Thanks guys. and FYI, I passed on the FRC I was looing at and sprung for an 02 Z06. so looks like I will be TTA +7. and I plan to go with 305 R6 scrub's. so all my points will be on tires. sperkins
Congrats on the purchase. You may want to reconsider your tire choice for TTA.
