In this case it was a front brake pad that had about 15-20% of the material delaminate despite there being 25+% useful life remaining. Of the four front pads, only one of them showed this type of irregular wear. Photos were taken of the issue and sent for review/comment to Hawk to ensure they are kept as up to date as possible on the parts. If any of you encounter issues with the required pieces of our cars, please do let me know (either in person or via photo) so that this communication loop can continue. No, not your pads someone else. I did not know that your pads had done the same. Take some photos next time if you can, or just show me if I am there.
