Bolt in roll cages

Section 15.6 in the CCR has all the guidelines that apply to roll cages. It appears there are several bits and pieces that you'll want to pay specific attention to if you intend to do a bolt-in cage. I'd download the entire CCR and make sure I understood what all the requirements the cage needs to meet before ordering anything or starting a custom build even if you're using an experienced builder. You're the one paying for the cage and also the one that will probably be paying for fixes if something doesn't pass inspection.

Beyond that, please be sure you're attaching the cage to strong areas of the car. Safety isn't a place to cut corners if you can avoid it.
