In the rear I simply drilled a hole in the vertcal style of my cage. Will this pass tech for AIX? Or do I need the proper mount? trackboss Posted June 7, 2005 Share Posted June 7, 2005 You need to weld a tab for the rear of the rod to fit into. I don't think drilling into the cage will pass. Even if it did I would never recommend that. All window kits I have used come with a tab for the rear.
