olaaf
Are FR500s allowed in spec iron? I’m asking because they are seam welded from the factory. Maybe this is being nitpicky, but rules 7.3.4 only allows seam welding 12” from the suspension mounting points, in addition to extra roll cage tubes for chassis stiffening. stevepoe
The c is stitch welded the s has no seam or sticth welding so if your car is done and is a true s car someone else did it. remove the brakes, chin spoiler, rear wing and replace the 6 with a 5 spd and you would be close to spec iron legal. course shocks are still open so ? olaaf
My mistake, very sorry. I’m building up an 06 GT, I was just whining about the FR500, thinking it had an advantage.
