fredmuggs
Hi, Folks: I see in CCR that, "Ethylene Glycol-based antifreeze and other additives that may cause a slippery condition if spilled on track are prohibited." (CCR.15.18). Excellent! Thanks to whoever snapped to the potential problem. My questions are, does anyone know if polypropylene glycol based antifreeze (like the RV stuff, for example) poses the same hazard? Is it worth discussing with National? Would it be an appropriate substitute for folks like those asking about cold weather at VIR, or those whose poor little neglected cars live outside part of the year? Doesn't seem to me any sort of a rinse procedure just before a race or HPDE could cut all the antifreeze out of a motor. Thanks for your time and interest, JC in South Carolina

RockLobster
The only glycol based coolant that you are allowed to run in NASA W2W competition is the Evans Racing Stuff. http://www.evanscoolant.com/products/racing-coolant-npg/
