Motorsports Southwest is now proud to be offering the next generation custom seating solution that replaces two part foam and bead seats. The kits work as standalone seats in Formula cars, Sports Racers or Vintage cars or can be used to customize the fit in your purchased seat shell such as a Sparco, Kirkey, Butler, or other brands. You can also make inserts to fit different size drivers into one shell. This is a much quicker easier system to make a custom seat than either 2 part foam or bead seat processes. Energy Impact Systems (EIS) Seat Kits have significant advantages over 2-part foam or bead systems and conforms to SFI 45.2. - EIS conforms to SFI 45.2 standards - The curing is rate is slower than 2 part and provides the driver more time to position in the seat - The curing rate is MUCH faster than a bead seat. Sitting time is less than 10 minutes - No vacuum required - No noisy vacuum to deal with - No high temperatures generated like epoxy can do - Easy trimming - No messy beads or bead residue all over the shop - EIS initially flows in every space around the body and then expands, making a highly conformal insert. Much more conformal than beads - EIS does not require replacement after impact - The kit is slightly more expensive than a bead kit but when factoring in your time, risk and aggravation and the SFI approval you may find it is less expensive overall.
