WTB: Old Helmets, preferably painted with racing livery.

I am working on an art project where i am trying to amass 12 car racing helmets. I am going to take them and paint/decal them to look like vintage racing helmets. Ideally I find some that already have stripes, livery, logos, decals, etc. on them. They dont have to be authentic, and dont even need to be authentically painted, but look like car racing helmets as opposed to obviously motorcycle helmets.

 

I figure since everyone's helmets expire every 5 to 10 years and there is nothing you can really do with them except throw them away (which I never do, since it kills me to toss a $500 helmet) that hopefully I can convince people to give them to me for this display for little or no money.

 

Thanks in advance, and I hope I find some helmets that can take on a new life as an art piece!
