David K
Hi guys I read the rule book on the ST classes, but didnt find a specific answer to the difference of ST classes and STR classes. In other words, whats the difference between ST3 and STR3. Thanks

ILIKETODRIVE
To simplify it: Tube-frame cars cannot compete in ST but they can in STR. (Classing Form)
David K
I got that form as well I didnt see anywhere the explanation, butif its tube vs. unibody, then that makes sense
erioshi
It's a bit more subtle than that. Basically any car that exceeds the chassis modifications allowed in ST becomes an STR car. As long as it still meets the minimum required safety and other regulations as put forth in the CCR. Oops .. zombie time! Looked at the date, but didn't catch the year until after I posted.
