I just participated in HPDE at Gingerman and would like to know how my insturctor thought I did and what it is that he thinks that I need to work on. vcavallaro Posted August 7, 2005 Share Posted August 7, 2005 You should have had him fill out your HPDE Passport. But I bet you don't have one of those. Otherwise you wouldn't be asking this question. An HPDE passport is a small book with key points to work on for each group. Each aspect has a place for your instructor to evaluate your performance on a scale. It also serves as documentation that you ran the event. I don't think they hand them out to everyone since most would be returning and already have one. Just ask for one at your next event. JCBCPA Posted August 8, 2005 Share Posted August 8, 2005 Talk with Sue at registration; she will be able to give you a NASA passport. Then find your previous instructor and have Him/Her fill out the information on your HPDE 1 before the end of the event at Putnam. If you do not remember who your instructor was, email Lawrence Mansier and He should tell you who the person was and car and class they race in. This will help you locate that instructor.
