ferris11
I recently picked up a 2007 civic. I've updated the safety specs but I want to get it tech'd before my first event to make sure that the car is up to spec and everything is legal. Also, I saw that we have to use Toyo tires. I called Tire Rack, but they don't have the size that I need (224/45/17) - they said because they are only allowed to sell a limited supply of tires. Where are you guys getting your tires? Thanks
National Staff Jeremy C. Posted April 17, 2014 National Staff Share Posted April 17, 2014 Sounds like you need to run the Toyo RR 235/40/17 instead. Here is a list of places you can order the RR from. http://www.nasaproracing.com/contingency/toyo_tires/Motorsports%20Dealer%20List%20(Updated%204-9-12).pdf However, this list is soon to be update because Tire Source needs to be removed from the list. Welcome to the greatest class of racing in the country!

00integravtecgsr
235/40/17 is going to be the size you need. Better hurry up and get that through tech and start racing. You can still make nationals. What region are you in?
ferris11
Car is ready to go except for the graphics/decals. I'm in northern NJ (Morristown) - not sure what region that is in NASA. This week is graphics week so that should be it for the car - and of course, whatever tech says needs to be done.
Rob O
Your are between NASA Mid Atlantic (Kevin Helms) and NASA Northeast (Brian Casella). Both are great regions for Honda Challenge.
