4.9 Roll Cage

 

h) Factory dash bar may be replaced with roll cage tubing that is incorporated into the roll cage design provided it meets or exceeds minimum tubing size and wall thickness requirements of main hoop.

 

7.6 Miscellaneous

 

j) {Any unused wiring may be removed.} Vehicle wiring system is unrestricted. Wiring, fuse boxes, switches, may be modified, removed, replaced, relocated or substituted with no OE components.

 

l) Vehicle ignition cylinder, door locks, and trunk locks may be removed.

 

m) Hood hinges, trunk hinges, and door hinges may be modified or replaced by something that serves only the same purpose.

 

8.6 Suspension

 

f) Cars may add stayrod(s) between the shock towers and/or lower suspension mounting points. Note: All suspension parts must retain their original attachment points at the chassis, and the suspension must maintain its original design and function. ASR rear subframe brace is permitted.

 

9.3.1 H1 Hybrid Vehicle Engine Preparation

 

k) All B series engines may utilize an “ITR” replica intake manifold manufactured by Skunk2 (PN 307-05-0270, 307-05-0280, 307-05-0290) or Blox (PN BXIM-10100, BXIM-10200, BXIM-20100, BXIM-10100-V3, BXIM-10200-V3, BXIM-20100-V3) or OBX (MF02) provided the manifold is made entirely of a metal alloy.

 

l) o) Any ignition system that utilizes the original OEM type distributor for engine positioning is permitted. External ignition coil(s) as well as external igniters may be utilized in lieu of internal distributor components. Crankfire ignitions and cam triggers are prohibited unless fitted as OEM. AEM users are permitted to use the AEM engine position module in place of the OEM distributor as part of the permitted. AEM coil on plug kit. AEM coil on plug conversion kit part# 30-2860 permitted.

 

10.2 H2 Limited Preparation Vehicles Only

Vehicles may follow section 8 in addition to the following allowances:

 

o) Any ignition system that utilizes the original OEM type distributor for engine positioning is permitted. External ignition coil(s) as well as external igniters may be utilized in lieu of internal distributor components. Crankfire ignitions and cam triggers are prohibited unless fitted as OEM. AEM users are permitted to use the AEM engine position module in place of the OEM distributor as part of the permitted. AEM coil on plug kit. AEM coil on plug conversion kit part# 30-2860 permitted.

 

p) H2 Limited Prep vehicles are {limited to} permitted up to a 235mm width tire.
