UKRBMW
I keep seeing then for sale and just curious if anybody runs one. Seems they are/were very capable but maybe I'm missing something?
nape
Could be capable, but don't go on capability based on World Challenge success. I know that the first gen Vs were allowed to move the engine back 8" plus other chassis mods that aren't AI legal.
UKRBMW
Thank you - had no idea they did that
Cmy70go
If I remember right they are silly heavy as a street car, but the cool factor should be worth something.
Cheyne
Over in the SCCA American Sedan class Scott Sanda runs at CTS-V that had been in the Touring 2 class and it works pretty well. His car is built to the max of the rules and the class weight for him is 3470. It is nothing like the World Challenge cars. Cheyne
UKRBMW
Gotcha - I've been reading up and WC cars were something else: dry sump, trick suspension stuff. Cool, but not AI legal for sure.
