C.Plavan
I have a FIA seat that is over 5 years old. The rules say I need a seat back brace (Competition). The problem is that my seat butts up against the rear firewall (Factory Five 818R) and there is no real reason to have a back brace. Is there any direction in these cases? ILIKETODRIVE
I think the politically correct response would be to remove said seat and install a seat that is within the FIA 5-year window.

Or the firewall is the seat back brace...
7VO-VOM
Racetech makes a brace for some of their seats that is designed to bolt to the sides and to something behind the seat. It is for FIA compliance. I've only seen pictures of the brace, not how exactly it's supposed to be mounted.
