imissedtheapex
question for yall - I had to remount my harnesses because I have a new seat. So I ended up with a number of holes in the floor board. Will this still pass tech for HPDE? For fire protection I was thinking of JB Welding some steel plates over the holes...or do I have to actually weld them over? Another thought was making sandwich plates and bolting them together. Any input would be appreciated... Buttonwillow is in one week!
ILIKETODRIVE
I use 3M foil tape (doubled-up over itself) to cover up old ballast bolt holes and various other small/insignificant factory holes.
n80
I use the same sized bolt with a big washer and nut. Put a little caulk or gasket maker on the contact surface of the washer to keep water out.
