SamN
Folks, need to refresh a few parts on a Recently purchased Spec3. Are the Meyle kits with solid ball joints legal (using bushing w/center hole only)? Thx! http://www.turnermotorsport.com/p-2054-complete-front-control-arm-upgrade-with-solid-rubber-bushings-e36-z3-meyle-hd.aspx
mdgreen
It's more than just using the non-offset bushing. The geometry of those arms are different than the spec M3 ones (note M3s are not listed on the Turner website as applicable models). The M3 arms allow for greater caster and slightly more camber. And while not replaceable, the ball joint bushings are stiffer than stock non-M e36. But don't take my word for it. Join the Spec3 facebook page and query Jon McAvoy. Cheers, Mike
