hufflepuff Posted October 12, 2016 Posted October 12, 2016 Is there only one type of continental sportscar challenge slick? In the rules, EC-Dry is listed as +8. Just wanted to make sure if I came across continental challenge slicks if there are multiple types or something. I assume this tire is about on par with a hoosier R6? Quote
TurboShortBus Posted October 17, 2016 Posted October 17, 2016 There is only 1 compound for CTSCC dry tires that are used for GS and ST cars, although the sizes vary (as noted in the TT rules/classification forms). Points-wise, they are the same as an R6 compound, although Hoosier claims that the R6s are marginally better. Mark Quote
hufflepuff Posted October 18, 2016 Author Posted October 18, 2016 Wow, thanks for the feedback. Bimmerworld was making claims that they are as good as Hoosier R7, which sounds bogus. Quote
Snowmants Posted October 25, 2016 Posted October 25, 2016 For what its worth I bought some of these. I have heard it is literally a rebadged R6. This would make sense--If you are Hoosier, why reinvent the wheel?(or tire in this case ) Quote
