Vinny
1990 Mazda Miata Up for sale is my NASA PTE Miata. It does have a NASA log book but it's not current(2013). The car hasn't seen a race track since December 2013, was driven off the trailer and into the garage after a Road Atlanta DE event. This car has been extremely reliable through the years and I can honestly say has never been pushed on the trailer nor have I ever had a weekend ending problem with it. The car is setup for NASA TTE/PTE but easily turns into a PTD/TTD car with weight and tune changes. The car shines at smaller-mid sized technical tracks, however even on a course like VIR it's very competitive. The car is easy to drive and has a great power-band, would also make a fantastic DE car, that's how I used it initially from DE1 all the way through comp school and racing. The Supercharger gives it a nice bump in power but still runs the stock pulley, it makes 5psi or less depending on air temperature, the car can range from 130whp to 170whp depending on tune and cam gear changes. You could pulley the car for more boost for more power, the car has spent the majority of its track life at class legal and safe 140whp. I have a lot of R&D in the car with setup and significant amount of dyno time in it. I've hung onto the car thinking I'd want to get back on track at some point but at this point I'd rather have the space in the garage. Engine: 1994 1.8 engine (Roughly 150k miles) (Valvoline 20w50 VR1 changed after every event) JRSC M45 supercharger, has zzp coupler upgrade and oil was changed every season Custom over the radiator air to air intercooler setup with short charge pipes Fidenza adjustable cam gears Gates timing set and water pump (1 season on setup) Mishimoto Radiator (car currently has coolant in it) Stock exhaust manifold cut at collector 2.5" ACT Sprung 6 puck clutch kit Fidenza 7lb aluminum flywheel AEM Water meth kit DIY autotune MegaSquirt PNP box 1.6 Mazdaspeed Clutch type 4.30, their aftermarket differential. Power steering rack 2 new Front hubs (Timken) Rear bumper, doors, trunk lid, fender or two (had a parts car) I have a lot of random pieces, my goal was to never need something at the track I didn't have in a box. Car's accomplishments and times. Holds Nasa TTE lap record at Summit point Holds Nasa PTE qualifying lap record at Summit point Many class win's in TTE (2010-2012) and PTE (2012-2013) The car at 140whp and a weight of 2425 has run (hoosier R6's) VIR Full: 2:16.5 on old config (before expanded curbing and repave), and consistently low 2:17's in clean air. Summit main: Car has been 1:25.9 (Record is 1:25.7 set by national championship car that year) and runs consistent 1:26's Road Atlanta: First and only weekend out ran a 1:42.8 The car in PTD, TTD trim (159whp, 2300lbs) (Hoosier A6's) I only ran TTD twice at VIR and once at Summit, no doubt the car has more in it at these levels. VIR Full: 2:14.6 Summit Main: 1:24.5 What does the car need to get back on track? Fluids changed. Tires Nut/bolt check I've drained the fuel and had the injectors cleaned/flowed in October 2016. I'd recommend having the car's tune checked (All Aspects Motorsports in Chesapeake, VA is very familiar with the car as I worked there for majority of the time the car was active) Looking for $7000 for the car. Email is the quickest way to get in touch jetswu87 @ cox.net no spaces! I also have a Econo Trailer that could go with it for an additional price: Have clean title (2007) Closed deck (all steel) 18' with a low dove tail (doesn't need boards to get low cars on, trailer was built for a Corvette Dual axles(3500lb each) with brakes on both axles Good tires.
