focusedintntions
In an effort to help contain costs of building a competitive ST4 car, might we look at eliminating remote reservoir shocks? Those can be a huge cost increase over traditional non remote shocks.
Balroks
If I recall there was a point assessment in the TT rules for remote res's when it was points based. However as time went on shock builders simply figured out how to use different methods like heat dispensing metals for the bodies or half externally mounted res's welded to the body at the same cost and performance of today's externally mounted ones. So these "cost savings" reasons have always been sketchy. If history has showed us anything, it's if you annoy the people with the resources and time, they'll just make the car even faster.
