mc-integra111 Posted October 28, 2005 Share Posted October 28, 2005 I was wondering if anyone had any knowledge of tougher, higher temperature valve guide material? I am familiar with stock iron as well as a soft bronze (phosper?) and a hard bronze (silicon?). I thought I heard about a non-bronze material for very high temp applications. I also thought i heard about problems with Neon valve guides and overheating and switching to a better material. Any insight or knowledge would be appreciatted. Thanks.
