924sowner Posted November 12, 2005 Share Posted November 12, 2005 ... i have found a 1979 911 SC thats in absoulutly great condition for $13,500. the guy who is selling it is a friend of mine and he has taken extremely good care of the car. the original paint still looks as if the car isint even 2 years old... any advice on this one, what else to look for? Bill Addy Posted November 15, 2005 Share Posted November 15, 2005 Mike, my wife bought one early this year-great car. Take it to a shop and have PP done. Even with a PP, plan to spen $1K-$2K on fix up items the first year, you know things the current owner doesn't know about or doesn't remember.
