... i have found a 1979 911 SC thats in absoulutly great condition for $13,500. the guy who is selling it is a friend of mine and he has taken extremely good care of the car. the original paint still looks as if the car isint even 2 years old... any advice on this one, what else to look for?

I guess that sounds ok IF you really want a tail dragger...

 

Seriously I am not up on SC prices. They are fine cars and it SEEMS in the ok range. Best to drop by rennlist.com and ask there.

 

Lost more knowledgelbe 911 folks there.

Mike, my wife bought one early this year-great car. Take it to a shop and have PP done. Even with a PP, plan to spen $1K-$2K on fix up items the first year, you know things the current owner doesn't know about or doesn't remember. Also, we had a master cylinder failure, A/C and defrost problems. This was all on a car from a friend who to very good care of it.
