MHISSTC
We did not like that there is an allowance in the rules for modifications to the Fox chassis to mount an SN95 front sway bar when upgrading to the SN95 front suspension when there is already a bolt-in alternative available. In our view, cheap easy bolt-ons are better than anything that requires modification. The alternative to the SN95 front sway bar is the front sway bar found on the '84-'92 Lincoln Mark VII. There are at least two different diameters available that are the same diameter as the Mustang/Capri front sway bars. They are also the same shape, since the Mark VIIs are Fox chassis cars, but they extended out a little bit longer to accommodate the wider track width and wider lower control arm mounting points on the Mark VII, which just happens to be the same as the SN95. The similar vintage Thunderbird should offer a similar alternative, but we could not directly verify this and decided to leave it out of our RCR.
