Posted October 16, 2013 Members Share Posted October 16, 2013 For complete disclosure... 4th gen guys have been working on a solution to the 4th gen hub reliability problem and there are three alternatives out there from still a good idea to readily available and tested in multiple AI cars. I submitted the RCR to the directors on behalf of the efforts of the guys working on this. The intent would be OE geometry has to be maintained and OE weight would have to be maintained or exceeded. More disclosure: http://www.rrsusp.com/docs/f-body_vette-bearing_installation.pdf On Page 2, the red part is the machined adapter that bolts the alternative hub to the stock upright.
