ST5 Suspension Limitations

Shooting Brake

Recommended Posts

I’m prepping a friend’s E36 M3 for ST5, and need a clarification. What would a Rogue Engineering adjustable rear control arm fall under in Paragraph 6.1.9 Suspension Limitations: 4) Control arms, camber arms/links...or 6) Non-OEM metallic and/or spherical design...control/camber/toe arms/links? Thank you.

“6) Non-OEM metallic and/or spherical design replacement suspension bushing modifications on control/camber/toe arms/links, panhard rods, watts links, and torque arms shall be assessed a Modification Factor which is in addition to and additive to #4 & #5 above.”

Both 4 & 6. The R.E. website says that they use spherical joints, and they are clearly aftermarket.

Better off going with offset delrin bushings in stock suspension arms.  To get the increased camber without the penalty.
