coupe331 Posted January 20, 2006 Share Posted January 20, 2006 I got this trans from doing a side job for a friend. He is upgrading to the new Tremec 600 trans do to a upgraded engine. The trans still shifted good and made no abnormal noises. The mileage is probably very low due to the fact this trans has always been in a race car. I opened up the trans and everything looked ok (no metal, synchronizer rings ok, bearings ok). I installed new O rings around the shift forks and resealed it. The trans comes with NO bell housing or shifter. I may be able to find a stock Tremec shifter if you really want it. I would like to sell it locally if possible. The trans is in West Covina, CA 91792. I would be willing to meet someone half way if I could drive there and back in one day (say 300-400 miles one way and you pay for some of my gas).
