otaku64
i've been askin around and seeing what other people have done to mount harness bars and i have seen everything from using the rear seatbelt bolts at an extreme downward angle (can't imagine that being safe) to using the rear strut bar. its for an s13 240sx, so ideally wheres the best place on a car? we were thinking putting it right at the back of the seats across to the frame of the body, like below...and welding it. thanks. -salvatore
white_2kgt
Harness bars are NOT safe, not even sure they'd let you on track with it. You need a 4pt roll bar at least to run seats/harnesses safely.
Nils
I am runnign a harness bar while saving up for a real cage.. so far no run groups have given me a hard time about it. only real concern is for a roll-over , but I sit so low in the car I doubt a rollover would kill or cripple me... n
