924sowner Posted March 28, 2006 Posted March 28, 2006 hey guys, since my main car is down for a while, and my daily driver still has a warrenty, my only other vehicle avalible to me would be a rather large ford f-250. think it would be alright to run in hpde? i know ide be a backmarker or moving chicane but i know it handles great for a huge truck. stops pretty well too. and with a 460 C.I. V-8 its got enough power.... so whats your opinion? would this thing scare the other drivers too much *seeing a truck going through the esses at buttonwillow lofting off the curbs might be interesting...* or what? white_2kgt Posted March 28, 2006 Posted March 28, 2006 The only truck I've seen allowed (other than modified one lapers) is the F150 Lightning. Pretty sure anything else is a no no in HPDE. Quote
944-Spec#94 Posted March 28, 2006 Posted March 28, 2006 I don't think that would be a good idea nor any fun. Really save the money on the entry fee. Hell if you are really that hard up... there many places that rent cars. Unlimited mileage, etc Quote
924sowner Posted March 30, 2006 Author Posted March 30, 2006 too bad, ive had some good times in that truck too, wondered what it would have been like on a track. lol. thanks! Quote
