We are pleased to announce that TT drivers for VIR-North on July 29-30, 2006 will have their own run groups for timed sessions on Saturday and Sunday afternoons!

Morning warmup sessions (not officially timed or scored) will take place in the HPDE3 Advanced or HPDE4 Instructor groups as assigned by Registration. Passing rules for those groups (anywhere with a point-by) will be STRICTLY enforced.

The weekend schedule has been posted here:

We will have a special TT Drivers Meeting each morning immediately following the 7:45am All Hands Meeting.

All TT participants will need to show me their TT licenses (or NASA comp licenses) at the first of those meetings. If you don't have a TT license in your wallet yet, you'll need to bring a completed version of the following application for me to review and hopefully approve at that time:

Also please make sure I've got your updated car classification forms if you've made changes since the last event, or if you haven't turned one in to me yet. The paperwork is here:

See you all at VIR!

Thanks,

Jon

I sure hope that all of you Eastern states drivers that have been unhappy with the lack of TT events at great tracks like VIR take advantage of this one! There are some Southern boys going--it's time for the guys that actually live within 5 hours of the track to step it up.

I'm having some car issues and I don't know if the parts will be here in time to get mine finished for this weekend. I'm pushing hard to get there.

Chris, if I can't git 'er done, I'll be outtta the kart race Friday night. I'll let you know as soon as I know.

Anything I can help with??

I have plenty of brake rotors..

No, rotors won't help.

At first it was a steering rack and now includes an exhaust pipe/catalytic converter. If the dealer can find them and get them installed in time, I'll be there, otherwise I'll be sitting on the couch on the front porch of the doublewide here and drinking beer.
