PIC Performance Coilovers w/ Evo TSO (Tuner Shoot Out) Setup

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

PIC Performance / PURE Tuning Select Track Coilovers

We have developed this package with PIC Performance to offer a track1 suspension package at an incredible value. We used this exact same kit on our EVO Tuner Shootout entry and place 2nd in the Street Car, only .2 seconds behind first place. We are offering them unmodified straight out of the box, or corner ballanced to the same specs as our Evo TSO Car. The Evo TSO Setup will also include recomended alignment settings for track use. This suspension setup is only available threw PURE Tuning.

PRICING

PIC / PURE Select Track1 $1350 Shipped

PIC / PURE Select Track1 $1550 Shipped w/ Evo TSO Settting.

- Dampers have undergone numerous shock dyno tests to determine ideal valving for each application, delivering superb damping characteristics.

- 8 levels of rebound adjustable damping to suit a variety of road and track conditions.

- Patent-pending adjustment mechanism ensures clearly seperated damping levels marked by an identifiable click at each setting, making for easily repeatable settings every time. Needle-valve design ensures no internal damage due to over-turning of the adjustment mechanism.

- Fully Independent height & preload adjustments.

- 3 stage anodized coating on shock body provides extra weatherproofing and protection against oxidation.

- Viton sealed pistons protect vital moving parts against friction and wear, even against extremely high temperatures and oil.

- Nitrogen gas-filled lower portion, with free-floating secondary valve offers more flexible low and high speed damping.

- 46mm piston diameter and 54mm shock body provide improved damping capabilities and heat dissipation.

- Two 6061-T6 aluminum alloy collars hold spring and lower mount in place and an additional third collar provides added support to the spring perch.

- 6061-T6 aluminum alloy is used for both top and bottom rear mounts, coated in a fade and chip-resistant paint. Front lower mount utilizes stainless steel.

- 240 hours of salt spray test on steel shock body shows no signs of fading or rust.

- Camber adjustable pillowball upper mounts for fronts allow for more accurate location of front suspension and a wider range of motion for mac-strut front setup.

Here are a few details about P.I.C suspensions.

The coilovers are fully serviceable, however rebuilds will not be performed. Instead, PIC Performance is putting in place a core replacement program for all customers and Authorized Dealers whereby existing customers will send their current shock body to PIC or to their local Authorized Dealer, and a replacement will be issued when the core is received, thereby minimizing turn-around time. Contrary to popular belief, this method is more cost-effective for all parties involved at this current stage. Currently, we do not have any shops in the United States who are authorized to rebuild, revalve or otherwise service these coilovers. When we begin dealing in the amount of volume that we expect to see in ~2 years, we will have already prepared our own facilities here in the U.S. for such services.

Service intervals will vary of course, depending on use. The limiting factor with these shocks, as with most on the market, will be the oil used for the damping. Based on extrapolated data obtained from 2 test sets that have been in (street and occasional track) use, service intervals for the average club racer will be an estimated 2 - 3 seasons (assuming a race season that consists of the months of April - October), after which the oil will be needed to changed to maintain consistency of performance. While the shims and Viton oil seals will last longer between rebuilds, it would be easier to replace all components at the same time to save costs, another reason why a new shock is issued rather than rebuilding the existing shock.

For the springs, I will cite the information on our springs cited on our website:

"Our springs are made from Japanese precision-drawn chrome silicon steel wire for maximum fatigue and sag resistance. Each roll of wire is certified to have extremely low wire diameter tolerances

(<0.02mm) for consistent spring rates. When these rolls reach our spring production facility, they go through a comprehensive forming and treatment process to ensure reliable and long-lasting performance.

The process begins when the springs reach our facility from Japan, where they are then put through the cold forming process. A giant reel of steel wire is run through a spring-coiling machine and formed into a coil without the aid of heating. By not using intense heat to make the steel more malleable, the steel's internal structure is not compromised and retains its inherent strength.

Once the coils are formed, they are put inside an enclosed rotating grinding machine to grind both ends of the coils flat.

The coils are then put through a mild-heat treatment process, where coil passes through an oven that heats the steel up enough to further enhance its tensile strength.

The springs are then put through a shot-peening process, which pre-stresses the steel by creating internal tensile strength.

Finally, all springs are pre-set by being compressed to coil bind and then being released to their final length. This allows the spring to be fully compressed in the future without the risk of losing overall length.

Each reel of wire comes with a certificate of inspection from the production facility in Japan, authenticating each reel's production tolerances"

The coils are our own, using materials and a manufacturing process specified by PIC Performance, in a factory that produces these coils solely for use by PIC Performance
