Tim Comeau
Hey racers, We have a different program from classes that can choose tires. Our class has "spec'd" the TOYO TIRE, so we fall under a different category, as I understand it. In addition to the cheaper prices throughout the year, we get rewarded at the end of the year(as in championship standings) Read on............. In addition to the rebate awards outlined above, those classes that do spec. the Toyo Proxes RA1 as the only tire to be used will also be eligible for the following award: 2004 REGIONAL CLASS CHAMPIONSHIP 1st Place = 600 “Toyo Dollars” rebate certificate 2nd Place = 300 “Toyo Dollars” rebate certificate 3rd Place = 150 “Toyo Dollars” rebate certificate There must be a minimum of five competitors participating in the regional class championship to qualify for the class championship rebate award. The “GENERAL REBATE AWARD APPLICATION” form must be filled out by the competitor prior to each event and have the signature of a NASA technical official who has verified the use of Toyo tires and the required decal placement. This form can be obtained from NASA here or online at http://www.toyo.com. Toyo Proxes RA1 Dealer Price Reduction As of March 1st, 2004, prices will be reduced on several Toyo Proxes RA1 sizes. Some of the key sizes where prices will be reduced are: 205/60R13 (Pro-7) 225/50R14 (Honda Challenge) 205/55R14 (Spec Miata, Honda Challenge, SE-R Cup) 205/50R15 (Spec Miata, Honda Challenge, SE-R Cup) 225/50R15 (Honda Challenge, 944 Spec) 255/50R16 (Camaro-Mustang Challenge) 235/40R17 (USTCC, Honda Challenge) 275/40R17 (American Iron, American Iron Extreme) Termination of Existing Toyo Proxes RA1 Rebate Program The price reduction on the Toyo Proxes RA1, which begins on March 1st, 2004, effectively gives customers a $15 (in some cases more) per tire rebate automatically without having to submit receipts as in the past. Customers can continue to redeem the $15 per tire rebate, but only for tire purchase receipts that are dated on or prior to February 29th, 2004.
