Why don't these track builders give up the idea of a private club. It just doesn't work! It didn't work at Beaverun, Autobahn, or the place they started to build in MA. If they build it right, it will be booked solid year round. Oh well, there's my mini rant. I hope it works out for you guys in Texas! tas236 Posted October 20, 2006 Share Posted October 20, 2006 I can't speak to the financial success of the membership type tracks, but I would guess that "membership only" or "country club" or "we're trying to present the image of being clean, fancy, quiet, and low key" sure does help get the permits, and such approved by the community.
