davidfarmer Posted October 23, 2006 Posted October 23, 2006 just noticed several cars at Rockingham with their accusumps mounted incorrectly. In order for the unit to purge any air that gets pumped in, the outlet should be mounted slightly raised. If you mount it horizontally, you should shim that end so that it is at least raised a little. If you mount the outlet up, air bubbles can get trapped against the piston, and you lose capacity, and some of the benefit. Quote
Renntag Posted November 2, 2006 Posted November 2, 2006 FWIW and supporting your comment....it is specifically stated in the instructions that it is optimal to mount the outlet end slightly higher. Doesnt anyone READ directions? Quote
