CMC racers

The Midwest / Great Lakes region is the smallest region in the country. We have been trying to determine how to make our region grow and where to pursue new CMC racers. I have created a simple survey below to possibly get some insight as to where the racers are coming from. I will tabulate the data and share with the group. Please only vote once and I would like to limit it to racers and HPDE drivers who are 99% sure you are going to run CMC. You can post on the site and I can take the data from there or preferably you can PM me or email me direct at [email protected]. I hate surveys as much as the next guy but we are just trying to figure out where we can get more racers. So your help would be appreciated.

WELL DONE ... now this is TRUE GRASSROOTS

I suggest ALL CMC / NASA regions copy this poll

note : I would add acouple more questions regarding race schedual

* How many miles are you willing to travel for a event ?

100,200,300,400,500 miles or more

* How many events would you enter a year ?

Holy crap!!! I had no Idea I would get this kind of response! I am having a tough time keeping up!

I can see that question 3 has multiple answers so write in what you think. I have had many "Autocross" answers.

Question 5 is kind of fuzzy so do the best you can

Also had suggestion of adding question 11. how long have you been running CMC?

You welcome to add that if you like.

Keep the responses coming!

The results are in, well sort of, I just stopped getting replies so I thought I would post what I had. I want to thank the 34 people who replied. This gives us an idea of who and where the CMCers are coming from and was very enlightening in some cases. This of course was very unofficial and some of the numbers may not seem to add up because some people had multiple cars and some people did not answer the question quite clearly enough to categorize. There where some questions that people suggested and answered but not everyone answered those so I decided to leave those off and save those for another day..maybe. I also intentionally avoided some of the hot button questions of the day, wings, 9.5 inch wheels etc. So thanks again everybody and here are the results:

I do. Need to sell three of them. 95 SN95 2000 LS1 Camaro, third gen camaro that needs finishing. Fire sale. get them while they're hot. Selling all cars for what's in the parts only, no labor, so save yourself the trouble.

( you only need one 'cause you can only drive one at a time )

and give the others to needy wantaby racers...

I don't see how Joe could make $250,000 anyway, you only need to know 5 things to be a Plumber:

1. Water up

2. Shit down

3. Hot on the left

4. Cold on the right

5. Pay day is Friday

Anyone ever told you how a plumber comes to be, TJ?

Take an electrician, dash his brains out, and tell him shit flows downhill.

Damn, I must be a plumber and not even know it. Everytime I get a job assignment they tell me "You're lower then whale shit, and there ain't much lower then that. This one's for you."
