CWeber
Yes, It is interesting that both 1st and 2nd place get 1 tire if 5 people in class. Almost makes trying for 1st place if 5 people way less stressful if you want to look at it that way.
Kubs
This is a great program still. There seems to be more opportunities to get tires even if its only 1 instead of 2 at least its free! Thanks Hoosier!!

philstireservice
Just make sure you buy them from an authorized Hoosier distributor !!! A company from the list that Hoosier provided in the contingency announcement...

A company from the list that Hoosier provided in the contingency announcement... Phil, what if I'm running tires won last year and being used for the first time this year(VIR)? Am I excluded from winning with that set(1 set of wets/1 set of R6's)? They haven't even been shipped to me yet.
Joshua
Just make sure you buy them from an authorized Hoosier distributor !!! Been there ... done that! . I'll likely be in touch about some A6 tires for a CSP car at the Dixie National Tour. And THANKS to Hoosier for their continued support of TT with NASA. I like the new payout better than last year - it spreads the joy over more competitors and provides incentive for building up the classes. If you did, then you should be fine to receive your "spoils of victory" and use them to claim more in 2010.

jrgordonsenior
Support those that support racing That's understood, but to imply that TireRack doesn't support racing is kinda nuts! Don't ya think? I think the intent is to support the retail vendors who actually go to the track events. Here in So Cal, Topless Performance is at most every NASA, PCA, and POC event with their support trailer loaded with tires and related equipment. Their prices match Tire Rack's, and they deliver them for free to your event. Absolutely agree that we should "Support those who support racing"...
