Mcspadden did not have a qualifying time. Dont know why? Was fastest in warm up. Spencer Caudle second fastest in warm up Broke timing chain. Did not make it to qualify. Derek Wright Third fastest in Qual. DQ for being 0.2 hp over on the dyno. A place we can point people to go and see videos of CMC races etc to use to recruit new drivers. Maybe now you can realize that with the right car prep/driver combo, a mustang can dominate. Thank you everyone else for the kind words and support, glad everyone doesn't have a bitter attitude. The Texas crowd rocks! I couldn't be happier with Todd and Ed running the show, they are two of the nicest guys I've hung around at a championship event! koserv Posted September 8, 2013 Share Posted September 8, 2013 Wow, not a word here for weeks about Nats, then this? Really? Had a great week. I wish more of you could have made it. We had some really good racing, a little drama, and a great time. Aaron handed us our hats. He has a really well prepared car, and drove like butter. Nice job young man! The only real bummer was Spencer getting bounced on the Dyno by 8 pounds. He had a tough week, and put in a hell of a drive from the back of the pack to P3. Sucks things worked out the way they did for him. I'm really encouraged to see a couple of hot shoe young guys chose CMC to show their stuff. Us old farts are really gonna have to step up to keep up. What was also great was the clean racing. I dont think we had any contact forms filled out over the 3 day event. Those that were teched after the championship race may want to share what items were checked as others may be curious. I made a list as I watched post race but could have missed something.
