1) Will torque be addressed?

2) Will Ken Brewer get a points break for running staggered tires?

3) Will S2K's be able to run the CR front bumper for less than +89 aero points?

4) Will they be released before Baby Jesus' birthday?

How about any FWD with a base class of TTE** or below getting an additional star?

How about Miatas getting a star or two?

How about renaming TTR to TTU (so U actually means unlimited)?

How about adding 100lbs to any car owned by someone named Markus??

I see this thread going well

I say we turn it into a contest of who can come up with the most ludicrous and unrealistic suggestions. Go.

How about a V8 penalty

Are you sure? You might want to install one to help make up your 7 second deficit in TTA.

It was just shy of 6 seconds at Sebring, sir...and its Derik, give me some slack. I still have 14 points to spend in A as well!

7.007 seconds difference between his new TTA record (Sunday) and your weekend best (Saturday). Time to do work, son! "Add 2 cylinders, +14."

C91s - 14 pt

A6's 12 pt

R6's 9 pt

everything else already 5, 5

I'd go for this one

Lets go further with it:

DOT Approved Street Tires over 180 treadwear not on any exclusion list @ -5 pts

I wrote Randy Shannon an email, asking for a pep talk to get my times down. Now that I think about it, it will probably make me slower. Damn!

or keep C91 and A6 the same (although the C91 is faster) and keep the other spreads the same, just shave 1 pt off each one

as it is, no * car can run the stickest compound in it's class in the class size

2 pts for every year of TT experience. Been driving TT for 5 years? That'll be 10 pts...

Actually, I don't see anything wrong with giving a break for true "street" tires. I'd like to see what would happen when you put some fat 180 TW DOTs against skinny R-comps.

I don't either but I also don't see Greg going for that one in a million years

DOT Street tire tech is getting close, if I had buku development dollars I'd work on making a true street tire car work - something like a Miata with ~225ish streets, $$$$$$ suspension, and a bit more high-revving area-under-the-curve power for TTE/PTE.
